All asset transfer form(s) (hard copies) will need to be sent directly to our transfer agent: Vistra USA, LLC, (formerly Phoenix American).

There is no longer a fee associated with the asset transfer. However, to be in good order all documents including Trust Documents (at a minimum the first four pages and the last four pages), Certificate of Death (if necessary-legible copy is acceptable) and other relevant documentation or letters of instruction need to be included. Remember, Redwood Mortgage Asset Transfer Forms are primarily used for non-qualified investments. Please contact the custodian directly to initiate all custodial-held investment transfers. Redwood will accept the custodian transfer form in lieu of the Redwood form. Custodians will send their forms to our transfer agent, Vistra USA. The documents should not be sent to Redwood Mortgage.

  The address is also located on the Asset Transfer Form. Tracking info is preferred.
  Custodial Accounts need Custodial Medallion Stamp Guarantee. Confirm with custodians to send directly to Vistra, USA, LLC (tracking info recommended)

If converting an existing investment to a TOD, please also send an Asset Transfer Form along with the Transfer on Death form.

For investments held in a custodial account, please make sure the form is medallion stamped by the custodian and forwarded to our office. We will not accept forms without a stamp.
For custodial positions, the redemption proceeds must be paid to the account on file. Please reach out to the custodian for any money movement questions.
